Beveling can be carried out in different ways, namely by chip removal, by mechanical nibbling or by oxy-cutting (Bevel).
The removal of chips and mechanical nibbling are carried out by removing the superfluous metal by means of cold mechanical processing.
Crimping can also be carried out using a manual oxyacetylene torch or directly in the machine, during cutting, with the new Bevel system applied to oxy-fuel and plasma technologies. This processing is carried out in compliance with the guidelines dictated by the ISO 9692 standard regarding joints and preparation for welding.
