Beveling is the universal solution for preparing the edges for the welding process. In addition to facilitating welding, this process also allows for good penetration of the molten pool.
Beveling represents a strong point in the supply of semi-finished parts.
Beveling can be carried out in different ways, namely by chip removal, by mechanical nibbling or by oxy-cutting (Bevel).
The removal of chips and mechanical nibbling are carried out by removing the superfluous metal by means of cold mechanical processing.
Crimping can also be carried out using a manual oxyacetylene torch or directly in the machine, during cutting, with the new Bevel system applied to oxy-fuel and plasma technologies. This processing is carried out in compliance with the guidelines dictated by the ISO 9692 standard regarding joints and preparation for welding.
The staff, highly qualified on beveling problems, ensures the best characteristics of the processed product for correct assembly.
